FAQ

Where?

I teach from home!  The CCNA 2-day Boot Camp will be held in an intimate, professional class room style setting, somewhere in the Bay Area, CA.

When?

Please see my event calendar for a full list of available courses.

Why?

Silicon Valley didn’t get its name by being the farming capital of the world. The IT industry is enormous in the bay area (and worldwide). Salary.com data shows that entry level Network Engineers are making about $79k/yr!!!

Who should attend?

Individuals with basic computer experience can benefit from this course, however this information-packed curriculum is focused on new IT professionals who wish to take their game to the next level. Motivation is the number one factor to successfully complete this course and obtain your CCNA certification.

Who is the Instructor?

Its me! My name is Nick Biller, CCIE#40890. I have been in the IT field for 15+ years, worked for several large corporate companies, consulted for the US Gov’t, and served in the United States Air Force. I know the Cisco Academy program (and trained some of their instructors!), 5-day Boot Camps, and have self studied my way to many Cisco certifications. I train friends, family, corporate partners, and the nations finest. My methods are firm, but effective. Credentials can be furnished upon request.

Is this Boot Camp sponsored by Cisco?

NO!  My courses are 100% UNAUTHORIZED!!! This means I can teach MY way – without the 300 page slide deck.

What does tuition include?

This class will include my study guides, 24 hours of intense one-on-one style instruction, hands-on real Cisco routers and switches, custom designed scenarios, testing strategies and tips, coverage of all the CCNA exam objectives, practice questions, a highly trained instructor, and of course fuel for the class (coffee, snacks, lunch etc…).  After the course is over if you still have questions?  No problem, hit me up!

How much does tuition cost?

The current rate is $1200 and will include everything listed above. Contact me for further details!

What methods of payment do you accept?

I accept personal checks, Cash and PayPal. Once payment is received in full, you will be scheduled for class – even if you need to reschedule, your payment is good for up to 1 year!

What if I’m new to IT?

Anyone who is willing to put in the time and dedication to become a network professional can and should take this course. I have designed the material from beginning to end, progressing logically and building upon learned concepts. If you can follow simple instructions, study, and practice what you are taught, even you can pass the CCNA!

Why is tuition cost so low, compared to corporate competition?

Large corporations have TONS of overhead, for example, I have no boss to pay, no nationwide advertising to keep, I do not provide Cisco Press Books or testing vouchers (which the corporate training programs roll into tuition costs and pass it to you)

Why should I choose your Boot Camp?

I am currently working in the industry – at the Cisco’s largest partner company in the US!  I am passionate about what I do, and I teach because I love it! I have sat in on several Boot Camps and training programs, and they all have the same draw backs:

  • Corporate atmosphere fueled by Under-motivated instructors.
  • Overbooked, large classrooms create impersonal vibe.
  • $3500-$4500 tuition!! You pay 3-4x as much as my course!!
  • Courses are 5-day, Mon-Fri. What if you work, or go to school?
  • Advertised 5-day, courses turn into 4-day (Friday is review & testing)
  • Advertised 50hr week turns into less then 30! (large classrooms, breaks, lunches)
  • Corporate style training regimen suited for the masses (aka, lower 80%).
